D6 Super Simplified
A downloadable book
Hey Everybody,
One of the background things I have been working off and on again the last few years is a table-top RPG system to be used in a potential Port Astor setting.
I have a lifetime of experience playing and DMing for ttrpgs, and have my own preferences in what I think makes good and bad table-top.
I wrote a full-on core book and bestiary, but that's kind of hard to parse, and harder to ask someone else to give critique on since it is... a lot. So, what I am opting for instead is releasing a two-page RPG, both as its own thing, and as a playtest "proof of concept" for the ideas I am of going for.
Naturally, when going from a document going into nitty-gritty detail to a two-page PDF leaves a lot on the cutting room floor, but that's showbiz. Any gap presented in it can and should be read as a space for imagination and wild improvisation, if not carefully planned and designed homebrew. For character sheets, simply use any blank piece of notebook or graph paper.
The two-page document is free, and probably always will be. Depending on what kind of feedback I get, it could be updated (and hopefully not made longer), and any feedback that makes it in will be accredited in whatever manner the feedback-giver wants.
If you want to give feedback, the info is on the contact page!
